Good friends, great memories!  Beachwood offers lots of activities for all the seasons. Everything is included with your stay except for motor boat rentals and farm visits.

In the Spring!

Enjoy a peaceful walk through the marked trails in the brisk spring air. In March and April the Buckhorn Maple Fest is on at the McLean's Berry Farm 3 km away. You can check out their website at http://www.mcleanberryfarm.com/

Pickerel season opens the second Saturday in May. The canoes are ready and waiting for anyone wanting a trip around the lake. The pool opens in May - please call for the exact date. The tennis court is available when the snow disappears. 

In the Summer! 

Summer supervised children's program - this begins the last week of June and runs to the Friday before Labour Day. This is a supervised program for children ages 4 -12, which runs Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

In the Fall!

The air is cooler and the colours of the trees are incredible. The action on the lake turns quiet and calm. The pool is open until we can not keep it warm enough - usually the end of September. The canoes and pedal boats are still available and the fishing is good this time of year. Every weekend in October you can enjoy the Buckhorn Berry Farm's Pumpkin Fest which is 2 km away. This is great for kids and adults - they have a haunted house which will scare the pants off you. You have to be 12 yrs or older to go through this. The festival is full of mazes, animals and pumpkins. Call us if you would like more details. 

In the Winter!

Enjoy a quiet lakeside cottage retreat in the country. We have nature trails perfect for cross country skiing and hiking. Along the way you may encounter some local wildlife. On the lake, we have cleared the snow to make a skating rink (weather permitting) and ice fishing is permitted in our area. Ontario Federation Snowmobile Club Trails are close by.
