Dear Karen, Krista,Dave and families,
Just had to let you know what a fantastic time we had last week. There was something for everyone! We were really just looking for REST AND RELAXATION and that's exactly what we found. The girls had a blast with the tubing and the water trampolines. Can't forget Dwight and Carli's canoe flip (while still on the beach!!!) We're bringing the fishing rods next year.
Again, thanks for your hospitality, p.s. Dinners just aren't the same!

Another great get-away for us this past weekend! Food/accommodation was great, the grounds were immaculate, got some great fishing in and best of all we appreciated the friendliness. Keep up the great work!

I just want to send you a quick note to compliment you on your resort. My sons hockey team stayed at Beachwood this fall and we all really enjoyed your resort. Our cabin was well equipped, very clean and checking in/out was very efficient. I have been meaning to email you all this time, sorry for the delay, hope to see you next year.

Dear Jo-anne, Krista & Dave
The family just left us to return to China and I finally have the time to write you a letter which is overdue.
Arthur and I cannot thank you enough for the 'extra special care' we received at Beachwood during our July stay in Centennial cottage.
Krista, thank you for the idea and Dave thank you for your part in man-handling the heavy electric bed in and out of our cottage. Arthur found the bed comfortable and is hoping soon to be able to give up his electric bed here and return to the bed on blocks. This will make life easier for next year. Thanks also to Jo-anne and the kitchen staff who prepared Arthur's pureed supper each night. It was marvellous to find that he was able to swallow the food well and actually improved his swallowing ability during our week with you.
We loved the cottage and all the amenities that were available to us. We think you are an A-1 Resort and already are looking forward to our week with you next year.

Frank and I enjoyed our holiday at Beachwood Resort and wanted to tell you how very much we appreciated your hospitality and friendly extension of your services towards us. Dear Karen, family and staff at Beachwood Lodge
The Peterborough Power and Sail Squadron would like to thank you all for making the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Squadron such a wonderful event. From the planning stages with Jo-anne to the final cup of coffee, it was a great success. It was so nice that records had been kept of our previous events at Beachwood and we able to keep or change things as required. The dinner for around 80 members of the Squadron was excellent and your staff was very attentive to our needs. Besides the Chief Commander Harry Cole and his wife attending, we had 2 couples from the USPS District Six Red Jacket Squadron attend. They raved about their accommodations in the Lodge, and other than a sprinkle of rain at dinnertime, the weather cooperated as well. As our event ran for the whole weekend, the buffet breakfast, and other meals were very good. We were able to have our AGM in the diningroom which worked out very well.
Again, our sincere thank you for a first class well run event. We look forward to our next activity at Beachwood Lodge.

We just wanted to thank you for a fabulous stay at your resort last week. The whole family had a very relaxing, fun time. We really enjoyed the great food as well. The Kid's Club was well organized and Beachwood's facilities kept us active with lots of family play time. Our kids loved the tubing and we enjoyed the breath-taking view of Deer Bay. Your hospitality and service was excellent and very family/kid friendly. We really enjoyed the socialization with the others families and are looking forward to making Beachwood our family vacation tradition. We have shared our enthusiasm with others back here at home and just heard that our neighbours have booked a stay at your resort in a few weeks. I'm sure they will have an awesome vacation experience just like we did.

We have been raving about your resort for the past 2 weeks to everyone that we talk to. We had a great time and compliment all of you on your professional service to everyone's needs. We especially enjoyed the kayaks, canoes, pedal boats, tubing, nature show, and of course the FOOD. My husband continues to search for a corn chowder recipe that closely matches the one prepared on the Thursday night of our visit.

We just returned yesterday from a weekend at your resort. Just to let you know we had a great time there. Nice view from our condo and I must say the meals were one of the best we had. And of course your services as well were efficient and friendly. We certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend your resort to our friends and families.
Michelle I just wanted to share a few of my feelings after visiting Beachwood for the forth year in a row!
The dinners were WONDERFUL!! I appreciate how you cater to the little ones by allowing them choices (kids meal or a smaller portion of adult meal). The patience that all your servers had was amazing. Sometimes it was so hard to make up our minds while considering all our meal choices! The servers were so very kind that I almost felt guilty when I left the table each night! I felt like I should clear our plates and help out with the dishes!!Thanks so much of providing a family vacation place for us that we hope to continue to come to year after year. We have even managed to vacation with most of the same families each year which has led to some wonderful friendships with our Canadian neighbors. I am already looking forward to next year! Please share this letter with Dave and everyone else that helps make Beachwood the BEST it can be!
